Ingredients

  • 2 cups Plain Greek yogurt Thick texture prevents watery layers; Icelandic or skyr work the same way.
  • 0.5 cup Strawberries Slice into uniform pieces about half-inch thick.
  • 0.25 cup Blueberries
  • 0.25 cup Raspberries
  • 0.5 cup Granola Store-bought clusters work fine; look for low-sugar versions if adding honey.
  • 2 teaspoons Honey or maple syrup Start with one teaspoon per serving and adjust to taste later.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Stir into yogurt before layering; almond extract works but tastes stronger.
  • Plant-based yogurt Coconut or almond yogurt; check thickness, add less sweetener as some pre-sweetened.
  • Toasted nuts or seeds Almonds, walnuts, or pepitas substitute granola for crunch without oats; gluten-free granola swaps directly.
  • Frozen berries Thaw overnight, then drain completely to avoid sogginess.
  • Maple syrup or agave Swap 1:1; agave tastes milder and works for vegan builds.

Method

  1. Stir vanilla extract into Greek yogurt until well combined.
  2. Slice strawberries into uniform half-inch pieces.
  3. Spoon about one-third of the yogurt into the bottom of each glass or jar.
  4. Add a layer of mixed berries: scatter blueberries and raspberries, then top with strawberry slices.
  5. Drizzle honey over the fruit layer starting with one teaspoon per serving, adjusting to taste.
  6. Repeat yogurt and fruit layers one more time, leaving space for granola at the top.
  7. Add granola as the last step just before serving to keep it crunchy.

Notes

Drain low-fat yogurt before using to prevent watery layers and maintain parfait texture.
