3 cups rice chex cereal, 3 cups corn chex cereal, 2 cups wheat chex cereal, 1 cup bagel chips or pretzels, 1.5 cups mixed nuts, 6 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce, 1.5 teaspoons garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  3. Spread coated mix in a thin layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to redistribute coating and prevent clumping.
  4. Check for light golden color and dry texture at 45 minutes. If pieces still feel damp, bake an additional 5-10 minutes, stirring once more.
  5. Cool on the baking sheet for 30 minutes before transferring to storage. This sets the crisp texture and prevents softness.

Notes

  • Bake at low temperature (250°F) and stir every 15 minutes for even crispness and to avoid burning.
  • Measure Worcestershire sauce carefully to prevent soggy mix.
  • Cool completely before storing to keep the snack crunchy longer.
