Ingredients
  

  • 1 piece pizza dough store-bought or homemade, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for brushing dough edges
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce or pizza sauce, spread thin leaving ½-inch border
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese low-moisture, shredded from block

  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano sprinkle over cheese before cooking
  • 1 teaspoon cornmeal optional, for dusting air fryer basket or parchment

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 3-5 minutes to ensure a crispy crust.
  2. Roll or stretch pizza dough on a floured surface to ¼-inch thickness, shaping to fit your air fryer basket with ½-inch clearance all around.

  3. Brush dough edges lightly with olive oil, then spread 2-3 tablespoons of tomato sauce thinly over dough leaving a ½-inch border. Layer shredded mozzarella cheese directly on sauce, then add your chosen toppings and sprinkle dried oregano over the cheese.

  4. Transfer the pizza to the air fryer basket, optionally dusted with cornmeal or lined with parchment with holes to prevent sticking. Cook at 375-400°F for 7-10 minutes, checking at 7 minutes for golden edges and bubbling cheese.

  5. Remove pizza when crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling. Let rest for 2 minutes before slicing with a pizza cutter or sharp knife to allow toppings to set.
