Ingredients
  

  • ground meat (beef and pork mix) Provides richness and moisture with balanced fat content
  • breadcrumbs Soaked in milk or water for softness and tenderness

Equipment

  • Air fryer Preheat to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes; basket lightly oiled or sprayed before cooking to prevent sticking.

Method
 

  1. Mix ground meat, soaked breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, Parmesan, and seasonings gently until combined without overmixing.
  2. Roll mixture into 1.5-inch (4 cm) uniform balls, then chill for 15–30 minutes to help retain shape.
  3. Lightly oil the air fryer basket or spray the meatballs to promote browning and prevent sticking.
  4. Arrange meatballs spaced at least ½ inch apart in the air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 6 minutes.
  6. Flip meatballs and cook for another 4–6 minutes, until crispy outside and an instant-read thermometer hits 160°F inside.

Notes

- Store leftovers properly cooled to prevent condensation.
- Reheat wrapped in foil in a preheated oven at 300°F to maintain moisture.
- Microwave in short bursts on medium power to avoid drying.
- Freeze airtight up to two months; add broth or sauce before reheating to refresh juiciness.
