Air Fryer Honey Mustard Pork Chops

Air Fryer Honey Mustard Pork Chops

No ratings yet
We make juicy 1" pork chops in the air fryer with a bright honey-Dijon glaze. The glaze is added near the end so it caramelizes without burning, giving a glossy, tangy-sweet finish.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb pork chops bone-in or boneless, 4 chops, 1" thick
  • 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoon honey runny
  • 1 tablespoon whole-grain mustard optional; adds texture (use instead of or with Dijon)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar adds brightness
  • 2 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika or regular paprika
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Equipment

  • Air fryer Basket-style or drawer-style, 3–5 quart capacity
  • Instant-read thermometer Digital probe for accurate doneness reading
  • Small bowl For mixing glaze
  • Tongs For flipping chops

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes with the basket inside.
  2. Pat pork chops completely dry and rub both sides with olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  3. Mix Dijon, honey, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and whole-grain mustard in a small bowl until smooth.
  4. Place chops in a single layer in the basket; air-fry at 400°F for 5 minutes.
  5. Flip chops and air-fry for another 4–6 minutes until the thickest part reads 135–140°F.
  6. Brush both sides with most of the glaze, air-fry 1–2 more minutes at 400°F until glaze is glossy and thermometer reads 145°F.
  7. Transfer to a plate and rest 3 minutes before serving so juices redistribute and glaze sets.

Notes

  • Use 1" thick chops and an instant-read thermometer to avoid overcooking.
  • Apply glaze only in the last 1–2 minutes to prevent the honey from burning.
