  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar Soy Dashi Use 1 tablespoon each of rice vinegar, soy sauce, and dashi per tablespoon of ponzu. Provides savory umami depth with lighter acidity.
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic Soy Combine 1 tablespoon soy sauce with 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar per tablespoon of ponzu. Sweeter and darker flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Tamari Yuzu Use 1 tablespoon tamari plus 1 teaspoon yuzu juice per tablespoon of ponzu. Gluten-free and bright citrus substitute.
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Worcestershire Use 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce plus 1 teaspoon lime juice per tablespoon of ponzu. Tart with anchovy depth.
  • 1 tablespoon Ponzu Vinaigrette Use 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and ½ teaspoon brown sugar per tablespoon of ponzu. Sweeter, milder substitute.
