Servings: 2 jars
Course: Breakfast

Ingredients

  • Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla) Use whole milk or 2% for creamiest texture
  • Honey or maple syrup Drizzle for sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon Chia seeds Optional; stir into yogurt and let sit 5 minutes to thicken
  • Fresh blueberries Rinse and pat dry
  • Sliced strawberries Rinse and pat dry
  • Raspberries Rinse and pat dry
  • Granola Add right before eating to keep crunchy
  • Chopped almonds or walnuts Toast in dry skillet for 3 minutes to boost flavor
  • Coconut flakes Optional crunchy addition

Equipment

  • Jars or mason jars Wide-mouth jars recommended for easy layering and eating
  • Spoon or piping bag For layering yogurt cleanly without smudging jar sides

Method

  1. Spoon mixed berries (blueberries, sliced strawberries, raspberries) evenly into the bottom of each jar, filling about one-third full.
  2. Add a layer of Greek yogurt on top of the berries using a spoon or piping bag to keep layers clean.
  3. Drizzle about a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup over the yogurt layer for balanced sweetness.
  4. Repeat layering berries and Greek yogurt once more until the jars are nearly full, leaving room for granola.
  5. Cover and refrigerate jars until ready to eat, up to 3 days. Add granola and nuts right before serving to maintain crunch.

Notes

Remove excess moisture from berries before layering to prevent sogginess and keep parfait texture crisp.
